4-Beat Stitchery handcrafts each saddle with the same pride and care as if we were making it for ourselves. Prices are subject to change without notice. The custom saddles and accessories are modestly priced so that the average person can afford them. They are built the way you want them and with the highest of quality. The speed with which your saddle can be worked on depends on how backlogged with orders we are at the time we receive your request and the saddle. Please understand that our leather comes from nature and is not manmade. Natural markings and shading are a part of the process chosen by mother nature.

4-Beat Stitchery custom saddles are handmade on strong hardwood trees, that are replicas of the originals . No shortcuts. The gentleman that makes 4-Beat Stitchery trees takes no short cuts and makes everything on the tree by hand. The trees have forged steel bracing that adds to the strength of the trees. In time, the trees have stress points on the pommels, and so they have strong bracing where needed.
The trees are the most important part of the saddle. Without a good tree, you have nothing good on top!

At time of order, 1/3 of price of saddle is expected before starting. Balance is due upon finish.
Two week hold on saddle if paid by check.
If saddle is canceled once started, 1/3 starting fee is not refunded.

*Leather is of good quality and 4-Beat Stitchery tries to hand pick the best hides.

*Under pads (which go under the saddle tree) and sit on the horse, are packed with wool felt. Wool does conform to the horse and alleviates the frequent restuffing of the underpads. Wool also breathes.

*The seat is hand stuffed to get the quilt look. Then some light padding goes on the suspended webbing, over center of tree. so you get a softer feel, so you are not sitting on a solid fiberglassed tree.

* All hardware 4-Beat Stitchery uses is stainless steel so it doesn't rust and wear the leather on the saddle.

*We have medium high pommels and high pommels available. The high pommels add extra security for some.

You can choose from western rigging, with a dee ring for tying girth or English rigging with 2 billet straps, like the originals.

* The saddle comes with wide wooden or English stirrups, (if requested). Hooded covered stirrups are available on request , at an extra fee.

*At time of order, placements of the hardware have to be discussed, as for the ties and the breast collar. The place where the tie string hardware goes on these saddles, in the front ,are not intended for English style breast collars. Arrangements will made for them to be placed else where for the breast collar.

Terms of Sale

Check, Cash or money orders are accepted. A 50% deposit is required on all custom orders, and is non-refundable once work has commenced. On check, as soon as it clears, the saddle will be sent.
All packages will be shipped via UPS, I pay shipping and Ins. for New Saddles until further notice!

Notify 4-Beat Stitchery within five (5) days of receiving the product if there are any problems or damage caused by shipping.

Returned Goods: The acceptance of any items being returned to 4-Beat Stitchery will be done so at our discretion. If we authorizes a return, the return must be mailed within five (5) business days of receipt of the goods and must be accompanied with a letter stating reason for return. A 50% restocking charge will be deducted from any funds to be credited.

Allow 6-10 weeks from placement of your custom order, to arrival of the finished product.

4-Beat Stitchery custom saddles all come with a 5 year warranty on the tree and workmanship.
